Yall. I have been having some serious hair envy recently. My hair is very straight and also very fine. It looks a little funny in a ponytail and also a messy bun because there's just not much of it there. I love the look of curls in my hair, but it does NOT like to hold.
I had tried the headband, no-heat curling method a week before Jess and Chelsey showed off their success on their blogs (go check them out!). It was a disaster. It did not look nice. I tried a couple more times with their suggestions without success.
SO. I decided to give the sock bun a try. I watched this video a while back and was hooked. I have been rocking the big sock bun during the day in this 100 degree weather, but I hadn't tried to sleep in it with damp hair. I did last night and I'm happy to say it worked beautifully.

Put on a headband and wore it up for most of the day.

ooo this looks pretty, i always have my hair up in a bun too, but never thought to sleep in it until i saw the picture on pinterest. i may give it a go tonight =) i'll let you know how i get on... it seems so simple, so im excited >.<
