Yall. It just really hit me that for the first time in four years, I won't be here to attend the University of South Carolina football games. I love me some college football. And I love my alma mater. (I admit I have an affinity for the UGA Dawgs, too.) I know, I know... same conference. Where's my allegiance? It's to the SEC! That's where! (Best conference in the nation, baby!)
For the past two years, I have lived a hop, skip, and a jump from the Gamecock stadium, Williams Bryce. I mean, I can literally see the stadium out my living room window. For each game I couldn't attend, I could sit on my porch and hear distinctively every chant, cheer, and call over the loud speaker. I could hear as the stadium of 80,250 chanted "GAME"--"COCKS" back and forth. I could hear as the stadium of 80,250 called out the beloved kickoff cheer "Gooooooooo! Fight! Win! KICK ASS!" We have some fierce and loyal fans. I didn't realize how much I would miss being a part of such a tradition.

(PS. I was in this crowd. Favorite game, hands down. When USC took down the #1 Alabama.)
